The author set up several things for this moment, he wants this AV arc, and just ignored the character development for it. Kaori getting into the industry as an AV scriptwriter and having a fetish for ntr makes no sense at all, considering how hurt she was when she found out the mc cheated on her. The producer literally told Yoshioka that she’s going to shoot the film of a guy who used to direct adult movies, it was just a way to avoid taking responsibility for her shooting an AV.

The actor himself (the guy who was the hero in chapter 90 when they filmed that sentai movie) hinted at this. The mc has no agency in any of this. It's going to be Yoshioka cheating on the mc(At this point she says that they are not together, so it is not even cheating) just to create drama, and of course Kaori has already picked her actress. Honestly, everything feels so predictable... Just think like an NTR author. oops, that’s exactly what he is. Nothing against the genre, just do it well

I'm 100% sure that horny bastard is the one who recommended Yoshioka to that former AV director and offered Yoshioka the lead role to make it more enticing and bait her and use it as a pretext to get his way on her by adding some spicy scene most likely kissing scenes, but since the former AV director is new outside(AV) this can be an indie film where the former director can add some sex scenes not just kissing scenes to the film... or maybe an after party celebration thing where she would get drugged or drunked on purpose by this horny bastard i mean he looks like that kind of guy who would pull something like that.

Anyways considering Jyura who made a lot of NTR doujins i wouldn't be surprised if he actually pulled off a Guilty Circle/Destiny Lovers Netorare here since NTR is pretty popular in Japan.

I don't have any issue with where the story is going. My only fear is that once we finally get to the good stuff, the author is going to cut to some backstory for like 20 chapters (or a year in real time). I can’t stand non-linear storytelling. It is just a crutch, because they couldn’t figure out another way to hold the audience in suspense.

Btw when I'm reading this manga from early chapters i remember seeing the cover photo in this manga a Japanese in real life female version of Yoshioka idk if she's an actress, model or gravure idol or maybe a cosplayer. I'm pretty sure that's the inspiration of Yoshioka character design. I'm trying to find it but to no avail it was in mangadex before but since those chapters got wiped out finding it become extremely hard.

It’s just shitty storytelling. For some reason, the author likes to keep us in the dark about why Yoshioka makes her choices, and sometimes they don’t even make sense. Like when, after Kaori dumped the MC, Yoshioka and the MC banged for days like rabbits while she kept ignoring her manager’s calls. Then, after seeing the MC get money from the manager to convince her to return to work, Yoshioka suddenly tells him she can’t date him and that he should get back with Kaori. Did she forget that Kaori dumped him? It makes no sense.

Edit: After thinking about it, I think it’s something like this: Yoshioka saw the MC putting in effort and decided to do the same by accepting the lead role in the movie.

Let's not forget her relationship with her supposed best friend. Kaori breaks up with him and she immediately steps in and starts banging him. When she meets Kaori again there's no distance between them after all the drama. Nope. They continue to act like friends and like nothing happened. Then she goes and says she wants to help Kaori with her problems and won't leave until she opens up to her, only to completely forget about them and leave before any resolution to Kaori's issues are solved.

Frankly at this point I like to think we are appreciating the drawn art when it is there. None of the conversations, written plot, or background seem to make any sense at all.

The sad part is the art has regressed from what it once was

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. If you're saying that the film in which Yoshioka received a proposal to be the lead actress could be the AV project that Kaori wrote, you're wrong. First, as bad as this story is, it still doesn't make sense for Yoshioka, a relatively successful model and actress, to receive an offer from her agency (Kodan, see page 1) to do an AV. Second, Kaori doesn't have the ability to write an entire film. She was struggling to write a simple AV project.

It's funny to realize finally some regular NTR could DO happen in this after all.
Like the whole premise was technically NTR but it was only the MC ex GF who got cheated on.
And while the manga had some scenes with guys flirted on with the other girl, nothing happened and MC took her first time.
It's weird it took over 100 chapters to now potentially have MC losing the other girl for real as well.
