Given that the last story i followed featuring a medschool candidate ronin had him studying pretty much non-stop for five years before he finally passed one entrance exam somewhere (in godforsaken Hokkaido), it's likely the original ML is out of the story for a good bit going forward.

What's happening at the moment with this manga is that it's becoming evident how bad the author's writing is. The author wants Kaori to get involved with AV, so she is writing in a very convenient way to make it happen. The author even introduced a character just to glamorize AV, Saori.

The thing is that since Kaori wants to be an idol, getting involved with AV is a big no no. If anyone finds out, it's an instant career ending. It doesn't make sense with what was presented of her character.

Recently the author went on X to vent about the harsh comments she was receiving about the manga and blocked the comments. If the Japanese public is criticizing you, it really is a sign that you are doing something wrong.

True, I honestly get why the fans are so mad about this. It's like the author is making a situation where there is a "feeling" of NTR. I understand that the author was a famous ero doujin mangaka so yeah, and pretty sure japanese fans would even like that kind of thing "IF" this is that kind of manga. But since this started a a love triangle drama surrounding young high schoolers, and an innocent Kaori to booth, I feel like the author is gonna be using this kind of suspense or thrill surrounding "Whether Kaori will succumb to being an AV actress or not." and it's not very good feeling for the readers. Just a selfish wish of mine tho, I will continue to read this manga to see what's gonna happen but I really want Kaori to not go beyond the point of no return. I hope
