I wonder if there was any hint in the first 72 chapters that the story would dive into this whole AV thing. The only thing I remember—and I wouldn't even call it a hint—is in chapter 23, when Kaori thought the woman from Kodan Productions was trying to recruit Yoshioka for AV. Kaori wasn’t too fond of AV back then.

Even then, this company was not doing AV work. If I remember correctly, they were on their way to bankruptcy and since they had no talent left, the president of the company decided to become a v-tuber and and is currently finding success as she is attracting attention from that field. Since then we have not seen them in a while. Although it is interesting that this company, Kodan Productions, contains part of the same name as the agency Yoshioka works for, Kodan.

Yeah, that’s pretty much it. Since Kodan Productions appeared early and has shown up many times in the story, I believe Kaori will eventually become an idol under their management, and her past working with AV will eventually blow up in her face.

Although it is interesting that this company, Kodan Productions, contains part of the same name as the agency Yoshioka works for, Kodan.

Looking back at chapter 24, it was Yoshioka who first took the Kodan Productions card. I wonder if, when she later searched for a talent agency, she only remembered the "Kodan" part and that’s why she ended up with her current agency.

Also, it’s funny how Yoshioka became an idol because Hidaka was excited about the prospect of Kaori becoming one, and now Kaori wants to become an idol because of her inferiority complex with Yoshioka.

I thought the series was rated low just because people didn't like the ongoing theme about infidelity (aka "NTR"), but I really didn't mind that much.
On the other hand I find this recent tangent about the porn industry way more distasteful.

Especially because I can't help but get the impression that the series is almost trying to glamourize it rather than make any meaningful commentary about it.
