Esta se va a tirar al porno de por seguro.
Welp... After reading chapter 80, it seems to me that it is certain that Kaori will do AV now and the motivation is idiotic. At the end of chapter 79 she was about to enter the Kodan Productions building when she bumped into Takeru. In chapter 80, they then go to eat something together and she said that she received a job offer, but that maybe he doesn't like what it is and that it's difficult to say what it is. Takeru says that if she made the decision to do it, then she should do it and that he will support her 💀. She then apparently decides to accept doing AV and says that she will see it as a learning experience before becoming an idol 💀. She is so stupid, once she does AV, she will never be able to be an idol. Her mother will also be pissed, in chapter 79 she tore up the Kodan Productions card thinking it was an AV company.

I was not sure how to understood the end of 80 because in 79 she seems to go in the idol building, but yes i think she's going for AV (Unless it's a big bait). It's not a surprise tbh, the start of the new arc was going in to that direction and if Kaori ended being a idol that fast, then the introduction of Saori would not had any weight in the story.
But tbh, I don't think's this is idiotic for the story to go in that route. Of course, in real live it's idiotic to go AV to expect being an idol after, it's just a huge trap. But in this context, Kaori is a girl with no confidence that got cheated, them dumped and is not sure to be able to realise her dream. She meet by mistake an AV actress that look a bit like her old friend, and seem to be full of confidence. That girl ask her to be an AV actress by saying that "it' a good opportinuty to learn", and give her adult movie where she seem happy and "free". It's not a surprise for a girl like Kaori to think it can be an opportunity to learn. Yes it's obviously naive and it will backfire later, but the devellopement is not meaningless. After all, it's how those kind a girl end up being trapped by that industry in real life too

Just a small correction, she was the one who broke up with him. He chose her and at the end of chapter 72 it seemed like they had gotten back together, but then it seems like it was retconned by the author and she actually broke up with him as said in chapter 74.

Overall for me it's a question of breaking the suspension of disbelief. I think it's idiotic of her to accept doing AV without even trying to contact Kodan Productions first. The author is glamorizing doing AV with Saori and her motivation of wanting to emancipate herself from her family, but the reality is that the overwhelming majority of people who do AV do it for the money. If the author had spent one chapter with Kaori looking for a job and not getting one or if she had tried to become an idol for Kodan Productions and failed, I would have found it more believable that she would accept doing AV.

Another thing that bothers me is the way her decision was made in the chapter. It seems like she will agree to do AV just because Takeru said he will support her decision (I doubt he would say that if he knew what it was) and she didn't even consider the fact that her mother is clearly against it.

I may not have fully understood then, but i thought chapter 79 implied that what was said in chapter 74 wasn't really what happened between those two especially that Kaoru seem to be still in love with Takeru. I think something is missing here
To talk back about Kaori situation, I think in this context it's more logical in her mind to do AV first and idol after, because for her AV is not an end game but a way to have more chance to be an idol. I don't know the industry perfectly but i doubt idol agency is somewhere you can apply multi time whenever you want, so if she failed then it's over for her dream. That why she want the necessary confidence and experience to succes, and think AV will bring this to her. Of course that not something you should do, AV is never a goid thing but in the story it's actually sold like this to her (Even in real life some girl think AV can bring them somewhere after orgive them a lot of money)

As for her decision, imo she had it in mind at the moment she watched Saori AV, but feel she needed the push up to do it (Of course she would never bring av in front of her mother), that happened when Takeru told her he will support her no matter what (Even if he talking about being an idol and don't think it's about AV and would not have supported her in that case). As for her mother, well, teenagers don't always listen their parents when they thinks they are right. Overall it's a dumb devellopement and clearly not something you should do in real life, but in the context of a naive girl being totally baited in a wrong way, it's not illogical.Doubt it will end well tho

Have you seen chapter 81? I read the Spanish translation by bokugents and from what I understand Kaori wants to work in the AV production company and not as an AV actress?

I've read it and it seem to be the case (even if i have a little doubt). I am a bit confused by what the autor want to do with it, but i will comment my thoughts on the chapter page
