I pray on the downfall of all who rated this a ten out of ten. Creations like this make me feel sad for artificial intelligence being forced to peel the skin of this creation to consume into its ever largely somehow not as disappointing mass of garbage. This media singlehandedly the idea of a government hiding this from us, feel appealing, because I wish to no longer bare the knowledge of such utter dogshit. This author is the most disappointing existence of a person I've ever seen. Thinking how he has a wife just to fall in love with a two dimensional character of his own creation. All to cuck the everlasting fuck out of his lowborn, uneducated crutch, of a MC. I used to consume Isekai garbage but even I must vomit at the thought of continuing all things evermore. If hate was engraved upon every single wrinkle in my brain it would not even equal a one one-billionth of the hate I feel for Miyajima Reiji at this microinstant. The MC, like a Phoenix rising from the ashes after getting that dogshit haircut: I will personally fry you in boiling oil.
Honestly, I still don't understand how Rent-a-Girlfriend still gets so much hate, considering that nobody else out there is being affected, humiliated, or defamed just because it's a romantic comedy like any other.
If the hatred towards this series (a work of fiction, of course) were relative, then real-life people would stop believing in honest politicians and start believing in the most corrupt ones. This is what we call a "reversal of values". But that's the thing: only those who want to fall, fall. ¯\

Sometimes people need to learn to stop separating the art from the artist and go on with their lives normally without publicly displaying hate for the entire internet to see. Just as no one is forcing you to read something that everyone hates, you don't need to justify your hatred to those who still read, but not much, and to those who enjoy reading. Just leave them alone and move on, it's so simple to understand. The same applies to the author who draws and writes; they won't care about the negative allegations and will focus only on what matters: their work, their readers, editors, colleagues, and nothing else. The series, even with lower sales figures in recent volumes, still continues to get 5 anime seasons, more collabs, more merchandise, it’s the most read manga on Magapoke (the digital version app of Kodansha's Shonen Magazine, just like K MANGA is) and, to date, has reached its 45th volume - which is impressively impossible for a typical romcom to achieve this milestone. Believe it or not, even though the series continues (and will continue) to have considerable success in Japan, there are certain people who don't accept reality as it is and how the manga market works. In this information age, any content or topic related to Rent-a-Girlfriend always focuses ONLY on the negative aspects of the work, such as out-of-context situations and dialogue, outrageous memes, overly amateurish opinions, lack of reading and comprehension, etc... All of this combined leads everyone to agree on it as "absolute truth", disregarding the opinions of others. Unfortunately, this doesn't only apply to RAG; Chainsaw Man, Boruto, and ONE PIECE are also experiencing similar issues.
By the way, have you ever heard of the famous "Texas sharpshooter fallacy"? 😏 So, this applies to the massive hate the series has been facing recently.
And before anyone says I'm "defending this abominable thing of Satan disguised as a romantic comedy", I'm simply giving an overview of the whole situation, so take that into consideration.
Am I the only one in the anime and manga community who thinks rationally like everyone else? I'm not sure. 🤔
