Most of Yuri i found were quite great overall, maybe it's your taste ?
Some Yuri author especially if the author were focused too much on romcom aspect it can get really cringe or annoying.
Sometimes forced drama or 3rd person cucks also really annoying in the story.
Maybe you can give me some insight of bad Yuri

@xaelath It's because the bubbles are wriggling too, I like to use fonts I think match the bubbles/mood.
However, if you have a good font for those dialogue bubbles, I'd be more than happy to use it.
Honestly, I'm a bit dyslexic and it's not hard for me to read but I'd like everyone to be able to read it easily.

Apparently it only hard to read when you're using phone, i guess it wont affect much went reading in 1080p or higher monitor.
I cannot push you further as i am not really a typesetter myself and if i did i would be only slapping the standard like CC Astro or something similar to follow the original source text with simlar font,
I wouldnt deny that, trying to find a decent font to fit the "Mood" seems pretty problematic, someone shared 300+ fonts for typesetting but the link already off.

I've probably read over 100 oneshots by now and just as many serialised yuri series(looking through recently updated yuri series and I'm reading basically every single one). The absolute best series I can think of now is Yagate Kimi ni naru, while basically anything Neji(artist/author) makes becomes bland and samey after 2-3 chapters. I legit couldn't tell you more than 3-4 one shots that should even be made into a full series since they are just so basic plotwise that you wouldn't be able to get more than 1 chapter out of the premise without adding in the usual shitty tropes like the third wheel/jealousy arc that's in basically every yuri series. Seriously,a girl can spend time with her friends without their girlfriend being bitchy and emotional about it.
The reason why I don't hate the third wheel dude in this story is because he has an actual personality and legitimately cares for both his crush and his childhood friend, he even initially turns down the crush because he knew she was in a bad spot mentally and wasn't acting rationally.

It depends on the genre really.
You won't find something like Yagate if it has Comedy tag.
Slice of life Tag will repeat the dramas like Ani to Yome (people keep saying this isn't Yuri but ok) or Cheerful Amnesia.
Then there's this Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru kind of Fluff with very low amount of Drama.
Something amusing like Seifuku no Vampiress Lord which is Comedy Harem Yuri?
And there's something that focus with multiple pairings such as
Ano Ko ni Kiss to Shirayuri wo.
Personally i don't mind much from these tittle i mentioned as they're different from each other.
I am much more experienced in VN Yuri though.
Something like Flowers series (4 tittle season tittle) is much better than Yagate Kimi no Naru in terms of characterization, dramas, multiple pairings at once, pacing, also comedy and depth of the story though it wouldn't be a fair comparison as Innocent Grey make something with thousand of text experience.
I welcome you to VN games instead of Manga and You wouldn't be ever disappointed with these tittle i played so far

Yeah I've read all those series you've listed (and liked them) but those are basically cream of the crop. Another series I enjoy (although very light on the romance) is Miss Sunflower but that almost never gets translated anymore, this manga was also translated by the same group but this chapter got picked up by another group instead.

Shame about the VN though, i am not really a VN person either but sometimes Manga isn't enough for me to find the Yuri stuff as most of them is pretty much as you described.
VN do require you to be invested for more than 10-30 hours and not like Manga, there's only few illustration but at least they're fully voiced and provide multiple routes to multiple ending for what it's worth.
I think the previous group went inactive for almost 5 months now.
I have been keeping eye on the Sunflower one before starting to read but the fact that it has yet to surface proven it.
