Man, Hiroki's auto-dodge reminds me of why evasion boosting moves are typically banned in Pokémon tournaments. I can't imagine how infuriating it would be to fight against.

When your evasion state is near 100% or higher, even AOE attacks can have trouble connecting.

Presumably that was the beast king taking down the bird. I'm guessing the invisible one is a cute or hot water spirit protecting the area and needs befriended before they're allowed the flower. If it was a threat it wouldn't have just aimed at his leg.

I agree with you on the beast king, but I'm leaning towards the invisible monster being the actual subjugation target.
