I know evasion is good because sometimes I put some too when the meta is pure damage...

@mahtan yeah but they are glass cannons and have enough passive regen/life leech to hold out.
Even then im sure they max out Str.
You cant do any viable build without putting stats in a Atk stat.
This guy is just beyond pointless and stupid.
He is that one guy in your guild, that you question their sanity, and ultimately give up on.
And like the MC in this story, always wonders why he is never invited to a RAID.

What abyssal is saying. His shield-spell just triggers if he gets hit and we dont know if his evasion is comparable to a 99,9% value. It doesnt seem so. Having 50 Points makes you a master, but you can still get hit. His goal of not getting hit at all is closer than having a high defense.
And like I said: the moment he gets a skill to dispell such things as para and debuffs he will be incredible powerful already. Naturally he cant solo everything, but that isnt his goal.
But it seems most people just want an OP-MC that is stupid but can steamroll everything. I think it is refreshing that the MC cant do everything alone, if you want a powerfantasie go somewhere else pls.
You dont understand what it means taking a role (he is a healer but all you stupid DPS morons dont understand this anyway) and working with others. Pls do everyone a favor and just vanish.

@Dragou He's a moron for relying on mechanics he doesn't even understand. He keeps pumping into 'Evasion' when he already experienced that it's not fool-proof. He keeps going into the dungeon alone when he already almost died doing just that. He kept bringing up his evasion-healer build in the guild despite getting jailed by the King for doing it. And hoping on maybe getting an anti-debuff spell is dumb as hell. He was surprised when he got the 'Shield' spell, so he has literally no idea what spells, skills or abilities he might get.
Wanting to evade is no excuse for building yourself to be completely reliant on other people. He would have died unless his acquaintances stepped in when he was summoned, and again if his other acquaintances hadn't found him in the dungeon. He is literally completely useless on his own, so why should other people reasonably want to party with him? He can't be trusted alone with the simplest tasks an adventurer might need to perform; he needs to basically be babysat constantly because all he can do is not die, and he can't do even that reliably.

@cor3zone His job is healing his mates and an anti bad status skill is really basic in games (shield spells not so much, they are rather rare) and this world is like a game. He does know how far he can go now and wont end up in the very same situation again within the 1st floor. Healers need to rely on others that is always like that. Only in stories with broken MC's it is different.
He doesnt know the whole world there and its people within. They dont understand his build and just dont know he has such a high healing stat, if they would know EVERYONE would want him in their team. He just believed that the king was more ignorant about possible builds than others, which happens quite often, because they normally never fight. Adventurer are more intelligent normally. If you want to criticize, than do it with the narrow view of the adventurers. Normally they should be more open minded, because the worl is wide. That nearly everyone is like that without asking for his specific abilities.

They take about as long as a friggin tank to kill stuff, but its just that, they can slowly whittle away at a target while keeping there heals up not to die.

Im sorry i dont know what MMO you have played, but it must of been a unbalanced one if your stating Healers are always at the mercy of their party, when its more the other way around, the PARTY DIES WITHOUT A HEALER, so the PARTY is dependant on the healer.
Please learn to play a MMO before acting like a pro, and trying to talk about one.

Just because his build isnt perfect and totally OP/Broken yet doesnt make his build wrong and bad. I wonder if you truly played decent balanced games, where you are not broken and can do everything better than everyone else. This MC has clear strengths and weaknesses. If the people in this world would know his stats and abilities, then no one would complain. naturally the MC is a bit abnormal there, but again this doesnt make his build wrong or dumb.
The MC is also aware of his weaknesses and therefore forms a party with others. that hasnt anything to do with beeing at each others mercy. That is called teamwork, because several people work together as a team to cover their weaknesses and supporting their strengths. Which is normally done in a MMO and even the Shield Hero who was mentioned before does this. Just because the latter got broken too with a ridicules skill (cursed series). I am honestly shocked of how you view such a teamwork, which doesnt help improving of how you appear here.
The MC here only goes to the places now which he can handle himself. Regarding the situation with the recruiting is maybe stubborn of him, but that doesnt make him dumb, because others didnt even hear him out, before he could explain it.

@AbyssalMonkey "Going full support" is fine. But in the example you gave, the "ringmaster" is actually needed, i.e. the party relies on them. So far, MC has done precisely fuck-all to make himself necessary. He needs his party, but the party doesn't need him. At least not yet.
