Well, in Japan, yes. Christmas isn't a religious holiday there, but the aspect of spreading happiness is still pretty big. As well as the gift giving.

This chapter is better than the usual ones for some reason.

@Mektox11 I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking this. The expressions especially stood out to me. Didn't know if I was just going crazy.

In Japan, Christmas Eve is more of a lovers' holiday. Specifically, on Christmas Eve between the hours of 9pm and 3am are said to be the time when the most people in Japan are banging. But on Christmas Day, kids will get a single present from "Santa" in a stocking by their bed. Then everyone eats Kentucky Fried Chicken and a cake.

In Japan, they only take the celebration party but not the religion itself. More like this is nothing more than a usual holiday party like obon or such. Even Japanese quote that "They born and live as shinto, marry and holiday in christian, dies as buddhist"
