Unless I’m remembering wrong, Sanae is the only one of the trio of friends who is still single. And she also lives pretty close by, unlike this boy’s family.

It could be the son of her older sister she often talked about though, because the resemblance is certainly there.

I still believe the kid is Nakai's, has the same big forehead and the same eyes I guess? Assuming he ever opens those Brock-type eyes

I wonder how loaded the main series' author is, considering this spin-off has been running for 250+ chapters already

Well remember it's not just this series but his other main 2 series of Shogi Senpai and Ninja Tsubaki-Chan one both got animes as well and I think Shogi one did well enough it might get a 2nd season fingers crossed although I dont think the ninja one did as good anime rating wise. I just want them to animate this or at the very least do an official english lincense for this series
