I'm noticing the usual crew that just comes on to complain about Nishikata is completely absent here...Maybe he isn't all that much of an immature child after all. Maybe Chi actually is his real and true daughter that had no shady business behind her birth, huh? Can you please just stop reading if you are so insulted by a person conveying their feelings in a different way from what you expect it to be?
Haven't you ever thought that many people aren't assertive or lovey-dovey? I like this manga because it tosses away almost 90% of the forced mushy stuff and still manages to be some of the most wholesome content I've read. Sorry for the rant, but I'm tired of seeing people eternally complaining about Nishikata. Yes, rarely, it does go a bit overboard on his reaction, but still, the fact is, he loves Takagi and Chi and they both love him back. Hell, Takagi probably loves him partly because of his wild reactions.
