I'm confused about the line: "Is that daddy?" and "If only..."

If the daughter pointed out Nishikata, then they didn't end up together.
If the daughter pointed to someone else, then she regrets not getting with that person.

Its a lose/lose anyway I see it. But the final page does have Nishikata as their family name. So what gives? What does that "If only..." line mean?

Okay, so Takagi got married to Nishikata, they got kid, then divorced (or he died) and she is now with another guy. They are either not married, or that guy took her surname upon marriage (in Japan you have to change the surname to match surname of your spouse because of XIX century law which people try to cancel by suing the government in the court of law every year).
Judging by this chapter alone, it's a plausible possibility.

Dude, that's too much just to avoid the possibilities of their marriage lol. It's not that complicated man, relaxed.

It just her way to tease the audience, in the last page we can see her smug face towards the panel and clearly nishikata family name on the front. Besides, in magazine version( i believe this one is volume version, or comic book version ) since it's originaly runs on magazine before being compiled into volume this chapter ends with the words "how did it feel to be 'teased'?" So it's clearly just the author trolling.
