Never thought I'd laugh like a madman at how unrealistic that chapter is. The boy literally was about to smash the window and the guy with a rock big enough to injure the blonde rapist, but somehow they cancelled that idea thinking readers wouldn't go smashing rapists's heads with rocks in real life.
I have no idea why a boy would be so helpless to not get that chance to at least retaliate with a smashed car, then run away to cause a distraction giving the girl a fighting chance to get away (assuming they can escape or call for help later.)
