ah i forgot this kind of manga. make something very rare become very common. Like himegoto when you think MC Only boy who cross and realize in every episode all friends from his school 95% cross too.

First of all in the author's previous One Shot, the author said: 1 in 10 000 was afflicted by this condition.
Now, either it was a missprint or an error in translation but 1 i. 1 000 is way too common. Either that or the situation is rapidly transforming into a pandemic level of spreading.

You know... as open as GB claims to be, I feel like it's not because it wants to have it both ways, just like their female characters.
Why did the male characters have to accept that they were female and turn into very very feminine women? Why couldn't they continue being just living as female looking men? Because the manga is about cuteness as most GB is. Imagine if a male actually turned into a plain looking girl...

Anyway, to me, GB manga isn't based on realism or real situations, it's all based on attractiveness. Anyone who says that all GB are an allegory for transgender experiences is either not being honest or is wilfully ignorant.
GB manga isn't telling you that humans just flip their sexual preferences on a dime. They are telling you: "Attractiveness makes the world go round". A cute girl is fanservice and can get away with most things. A manly, ordinary-looking girl probably wouldn't.

If we ever get GB manga where the MC turned into a ordinary girl, then the author would really have to put work into selling it to the audience...

People here saying stuff like "1 in 1000 is way too common". Conservative estimates place the amount of trans people in the populace at the same 0.1% (aka 1 in 1000). Coincidence? I think not!
But like, if that number surprises you, I guess you're also surprised about it irl...

Kinda weird to refer to her as her boyfriend initially when she also thinks of her as a woman, even if she was initially a man. It’s like, not much of a twist. Obviously you would not think an actual woman would be the boyfriend. Cause she’s not a boyfriend. She’s a girlfriend.

I agree with most of this, I've noticed that pretty much all GB and crossdressing characters are drawn to be as attractive or even better looking than AFAB characters, I find this frustrating tbh. Less conventionally attractive but quirky or otherwise endearing is an option that isn't often used for GB/CD characters.

I understand the reasoning behind this and clearly this can create funny/awkward situations for GB MC but daring to do something different can make a better story. Having someone they meet being hostile rather than attracted to MC could happen as an example.

Sexual orientation isn't something that interests me that much unlike most of the posters on this forum it seems  All I'm going to say is "the mind is the plaything of the body" is a thing for a reason, also Bisexual and Asexual people exist as well as Het and Gay types.
