Really good one! Try to read it at official site or buy the volumes
The story start with an interesting premise and start to feel slow in the middle and it end with a strong impression. It really worth my time especially since i like this kind of manga 8.5/10.
PS: remember this is fiction no need to immerse yourself too much. Everyone have a different story in their life . Have a good life godspeed

While I can't be as harsh as @Cyro11 (page 2), I do feel like this manga isn't as splendid as people above me are saying.

The author definitely tends to pull plot out of her ass from time to time. More than once did I go, "hold on, where does that come from ???". Not to mention this tendency of overusing the classic "I was bad guy, but now im good guy" trope... it gets especially annoying nearing the end.

Also, has anyone talked about those flashbacks? So many of them in the latter part of the story... These completely blow the pacing apart, especially when they interrupt the action only to tell you stuff you already know. It's as if the author wants to tell us, "see that hint I gave you earlier??? Here's what it means, see?? It means that, alright? Is it clear enough???". I feel like the story does not speak for itself most of the time...

To conclude, while the concept is, in my opinion, really interesting, and the beginning, very well done... unfortunately, the story tends to degrade more and more nearing the end. As if it was rushed, as if the author needed to come up with something, quick, too quick. I feel Inuyasha suffered from the same fate, good start but poor second half.

PS, the ending was absolutely godawful: why did Kasane kiss rat guy? why did she wanted Neena's mom to see Neena's last words? How did Neena's mom learn about permanent exchange and why did she do it... It makes no sense to me.

Kasane said that Nogiku could kill her if she wanted, she obviously wanted to pay for what she did.

I like to think that at the very end, Habuta is there to kill Tsugumi (who's actually Punished Kasane, down to the missing eye lol). It would be very thematically appropriate.

This is one of the best manga I've ever read and yet the best I can rate it is 9/10 all because the author couldn't really find a better way to relay two important plot beats which lead to the arc of the final play dragging: Izana's entanglement with her director's younger brother (the researcher) and the twist that it was Fuchi who saved Kasane while Izana stayed with Nogiku the entire time.

Other than that, this is still the best non-action, non-horror, non-detective psychological thriller I've read so far. Even the Greek/Shakesperean tragedy structure of the manga added so much more and fit in with the motif perfectly. No matter what despicable thing any of the main characters do, their histories and how those have informed their mindsets are so real and lifelike that I can never bring myself to hate any of them.

I can never claim to have ever had half the self-loathing Kasane has ever felt and yet I'm sure I would've done things just as bad as she's done during the rock bottom of my life just to pull myself up too. I've felt myself somewhat dehumanized by a label in the past too which is why I can also sympathize with Nogiku's plight to a lesser extent.

This manga made me both re-examine how I perceive myself and happy that I am in a phase of my life where I can be content with myself and my actions without caring about how society might view me.

If you're in a fragile state of mind where you're malcontent with the way things are in your life, read this manga at your own risk.
