has no one mentioned how this is playing awfully into some sexist stereotypes...? no? cmon. the art is beautiful and perhaps the story is even something that will become compelling, but i can't get over how the basis is essentially a fantasy yamato nadeshiko situation.
i don´t see it, sry. Apart from the black hair, white skin and the attempting to hide her pain i don´t see the resemblance to yn. And the latter is even more a trust issue than stoicism, so it doesn´t really fit either.

Kinda disgusting that it's framed as if her happiness is conditioned by this one random guy.
EDIT: ...Right, Josei. Derp. That makes sense. Anyway, the idea is nice, albeit seems odd. Even if "weak", her overall magic potential seems to be leaps and bounds above average. Surely she can do anything other than adventuring, especially with an influential guildmaster at her back. But I guess the author really wanted a tragic isekai super maid to be dokidoki with the princes.
well, it´s 4 years later, so in case your opinion has changed, feel free to ignore this reply. The light novel describes why she can´t do whatever. It basically comes down to a lack of knowledge about the local culture and language on her part as well as varying degrees of mistrust against foreigners, which makes it hard for her to get a safe job elsewhere. Which is why she decided to stay at the guild. Also magic has been used primarily for combat so far. Her housekeeping profession is literally a novelty, making it even harder to find work outside the guild. ... The romance plot is very well written in my opinion. It is easy to see how and why those two came together. So i fail to see what is disgusting about it.

doormat mc...
also the adventurers guild of her town should be renamed doormat protection agency
its not that i cant emulate her feeling but there is one universal truth thats seemingly missing from this manga: nothing thats even worth a damn comes without a fight/price/sacrifice
i fail to see the connection. Could you elaborate?

All i see is another "Villainess" manga, but with heroine as MC, and outside of castle format.
Adventurers settings feel out of place, and story feels boring.
well, boring is subjective, so there is nothing to be done about that. As for the villainess thing: Literally the only correlation i see is the prince. So no, not correct.
