Thank you for the chapter was quite fun. Yes, we have the good old "secret church branch that does evil things" plot going on, I hope it will be original and not too cliche. Could also be the "bishop" is just a code title, and they're not the church at all.

I also wonder whether this manga will have romance or not. It could actually be one of those rare no romance mangas.

Damn, Old Man Beryl is a cool protagonist, I like how he was more concerned about the little girl safety and her not seeing the bloodbath than pursuing this mysterious guy and putting her life in risk, if there's someone who deserve a harem it's this guy here.

I also was surprise about the fact that Beryl's father was so OP that he never beat him once. Maybe this fact coupled with his father injuring himself, so no more rematches to test his skills as Beryl got older plus Beryl's humble, non-confrontational (except if his life or someone dear to him is in danger) and gentle nature contributed to his current lack of confidence on his skills.

But even if this was the case then Beryl's dad and his young self would be like Yujiro and Baki compared to the rest of the world in terms of swordsmanship, Baki with 19/20 years already beat everybody except Yujiro.

Also where's Slena best girl? I need my daily doses of my muscle red haired waifu.
