To those who are out of the loop, it's in regard to the whole Manga One debacle from a few months ago. You can look up the details yourself if your interested it but know that some of the details are pretty gross.

The first page was from the web manga, the second page with more details is from Minami Fumika's Pixiv Fanbox, and the third page was from me. And while I was half joking about the Futari Bus and Boku dake ga Shitterun daze thing, I really do want another scanlation group to take over if they can. I think it's a really good manga but I also don't have the time to scanlate an ongoing manga, I just have so many other manga I want to scanlate first.

Funny enough, just a few hours ago Minami Fumika did post on Twitter/X that she was commited to return. Though when and where I do not know.

Hopefully you will return to it eventually if nobody else take the wheels. The premise is promisong, hopefully it will be continued one day as well.

Long story short, when one mangaka was a bit younger he had a thing for one high-schooler. He was adult at the time and she was not. Plus he had quite unique fetishes to put it mildly, poor girl is traumatized for life. Then this story got found out and his manager and company protected him, they are still protecting him now. Hence why a lot of mangakas refuse to work with Manga One until this has been resolved or they find someone else for publishing.

Japanese "justice" system is fucked up badly. Very badly. Very, VERY badly. Murderers are going free, child molesters are being fined for merely $70k, while presumption of innocence does exists only in theory, judges use every doubt to the detriment of the defendant, people who did nothing wrong are being kept in prisons, while the jail itself is dehumanizing to put it mildly.
Overall Japan is very fucked up country. People just like to romanticize about it, looking through sakura-tainted glasses and pop culture. Reality tho, is much, much harsher.
