Sure, but this romance isn't going anywhere. They're together, dating, openly, with no associated drama. It's just fun shenanigans with his sorta-harem of weirdos, now. Not that I'm complaining at all. I'm 100% down with the pointlessness.

In fairness the main couple still had a LOT of progress to make, all of which completely stopped dead with the introduction of the harem BS. That’s my major frustration is that the author full stopped a cute, funny romance just for “lol harem shenanigans”. I feel like this manga would have worked much better if they went for side-ships instead of harem shit.

This is why I rarely raise a fuss when a series ends, better a clean ending than a horrible life support that drags the series onwards to the point it forgets what made it good in the first place.

That said some series DEFINITELY end prematurely and some have garbage unsatisfying endings. This is not the case here, there’s still about a hundred other interesting scenarios these two could have gotten into, hell they were teasing a few plot threads with there relationship progressing and they just kinda… forgot? Like there’s been 0 progress with the main couple for how many chapters now? Let alone 2 out of the last 20+ chapters have even let them just interact alone together.

Remember authors: If you are writing a story about a couple, don’t start shoehorning in harem bullshit.
