Just take it calmly and get used to the commenters' humour and style of commenting. On the other hand, when a mangaka/doujin artist creates a series like this, they are doing it purposefully expecting exactly the kind of reactions you see here. Of course the Japanese artists don't check MD, but the comments in Japan aren't fundamentally all that different, though there are some distinct cultural differences. Although MD as well has readers from all over the world.

I realise I didn't write it too well earlier, but what you wrote here is exactly what you need to get used to and not let it bother you. Because it will keep happening and won't go anywhere. I'm not even saying it like I was some outsider; I've done it myself, though with some subtlety usually. Normally I only complain about poor/illogical writing.

What comes to this specific series, please note that the author has written the brother to be initially opposed to the whole affair, even if he's falling steadily. So, clearly the author's intention wasn't to make it work smoothly. So, it I don't think readers are wrong in writing opposing views either.
