read chapter 15, that's supposed to be the grandma, but ever since she saw kaya, the grandma's condition worsen because there's supposed to be something mysterious or terrifying about kaya.

I'm pretty sure that's her grandma from chapter 15.
And from the foreshadowing and the vol. 3 cover, my guess is that kaya's mom died while/before giving birth and some super natural event happened (probably possession) that gave kaya her psychic powers. If I'd had to guess the direction of the story and the foreshadowing from the cover, there will be a confrontation with kaya's supernatural side or at least an explanation how kaya got her powers

Eagerly waiting to see what comes next, in case it actually is a matter of possession, I wonder if Kaya is somehow aware of it, and if so, how is her relationship with the spirit (or ghost, or whatever) that's possessing her, and what's happening to the pregnant mom and her baby as well.

In earlier chapters when she visited her Grandma with that stalker looking dude (according to story), she held a picture frame and turned into 'Dark Kaya' (Just gonna call her that now), apparently the Grandma was looking/talking about a person in the picture frame that passed away and she has seen that person when looking at kaya, to which Kaya only decided to grin
