So I guess this manga's unique take is that the older male protag doesn't have scruff under his chin.

"few" things for those who like wasting time reading long comments
it was alright at first, was kinda strange that the highschooler who grew up in a "facility" was immediately concerned that no work = prostitution, alas thats just the nature of the world i guess
the MC tho... the MC
basically by the end of chapter 2(?) he levels up and gets an ability that converts exp into skills
no this isn't like the one manga where the guy loses levels and gets busted skills, immediately nullifying the weakness/ cost of his conversion skill
-this guy actually loses nothing (should be stated that this is the case in a world where skill acquisition is already a very rare occurrence, especially upon leveling up, so the fact he gets a skill on his first level up AND its a skill that grants skills.... yeh....)
that bullshit aside, he essentially gets skills by doing things and by thinking things (not from gaining actual experience points required to level up)
-he gets dagger mastery from slicing air with a dagger (think of getting max rank dagger mastery from allocating 1 skill point instead of having to allocate 5-8 levels worth of skill points)
-he gets shunpo from dodging 'x' amount of times
-he gets fireball cuz he sees a boss monster use fireball and thinks about the concept of fire... yes...
->btw he also got mana vision for free, its an ability that allows him to trace any application of mana (how it naturally circulates in your body, how you circulate it to enhance/ "buff" your body, and how you apply it to create magic spells like cough cough fireball)
-did i forget all weapons are unbreakable until the plot decides they ought to break?
so its basically like that one "Despised Level 0" manga translated by KDT/ Silentquill but with worse art and a less insufferable protag.
Most Monster Art is either bad CG/ AI/ or trash design depending on the type of mob (CG/AI so far is reserved for skeletons and knight armor)
Special Effect Art (like fireball for example) are just about as bad as what i'd draw + some copy paste filler so the fireballs don't look like flying white cotton balls
Chapter 5 is heavy on fanservice (tho with cover art yall degens are just as bad as me if not worse) and probs the first and last chapter you'll see uncensored
-that being said, this is the strongest field this manga's got imo
Interesting concepts are thrown around, but if the first 5 chapters are anything to go off of none of these will have much depth long term...
-his brothers btw have been irrelevant outside of explaining the MCs motivations and matching him with the FMC, so at this point he's spent most of his life as a newly employed adventurer hangin out with 3 JKs probs 3/5ths his actual age

His skill is basically learning skills from the things he fights with no downside, difficulty or even cost, like he just thinks about it and bam he has it, it doesn't even take time, he gets it on a few seconds. This is severe trash.

Personally an Interesting read.... if you wanna turn off your brain for a while anyways. He's supposed to be doing this for his only brothers but they became irrelevant the moment he and the lil'bro's classmate becomes a party. Also, the whole shit beIng run by old fogeys..... yeah, no wonder the youths are declinIng.

This is on the bad side of mid. 4/10
John Adventurer who is immediately good at fighting even tho its his first time in a dungeon and gets op skills for no reason and a party of high school girls even tho he is a grown adult who also is taking care of 2 high school aged younger brothers who are supposed to be the reason he started exploring dungeons in the 1st place but so far haven't been seen or mentioned again since chapter 2. I had no expectations going in so I'm not disappointed but it is extremely average wish fulfilment. His party of high school girls are also all melee fighters who so far don't use magic but its fine because he can cover all roles and do anything.
