Pretty sure a few pictures depict somebody in the coach's seat. The coachman must be quick at hiding himself when he could not drive anymore. Or he was blown away with the bandits and later healed by the fluffy tail.

It really is strange for the author to put that there. Those level 10 bandits were no threat to an S-Class adventurer. Marianta should have known that too. Maybe the author forgot in the heat of the moment of trying to build up the power level of the main for some reason.
