Usually when authors pull this, it's kind of like the "Red Wedding" if you read a Song of Ice of Fire or watched Game of Thrones. It's a way of the author telling you, things are about to get worse from here on out.

I have seen that a few times, but not in any manga I care to name. An alternative that's more common is like in Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni shimashita where it's only one dickhead in the party who kicks MC out (usually the "hero") and the rest of them just don't argue enough, are controlled, or are otherwise ineffective at changing the outcome. Those can also be somewhat redeemable.

Wasn't the hero in that one, that kicked him out, pretty sure she's on the cover.

Lisa is basically the demon lord that was never manipulated by domination but rather approached the MC, so she can then get close to the hero, fool the hero that she "got manipulated" by his domination and basically wrap him around her finger and continue living?

Well he basically tried to tape a female friend of MC but due to leveling up with MC her level was too high and it didn't work on her. After that the Hero got kicked out hard lmao. So no, no sex/rape other than Lisa and both brainwashed girls.
