I mean, of course she wants to die; she didn't feel that MC was a burden, and said he was a burden (while brainwashed) so many times that he believes it, himself.

I like how they handle the brainwash, like she didn't get healed instantly.
She had to drink a potion, which actually gave her some pain.
And she didn't forget her actions. She was really full of regret.
