Everyone is talking about how they're just repeating the jelousy arc, and here I am, just confused as fuck, cause, I don't even know if they have been doing this for the past few chapters or only this chapter just now.
It was only until I read to the part where they're talking about accepting their past that I was like: Wait, I thought we went over this already, well, it was weird for them to bring back this bit for like 2 pages and then resolve it right away.

I honestly forgot about that meeting in the storage room, and I can't believe that was never brought up to Runa before until now. Glad that was used as a point to prove MC's feelings and devotion to her, and yeah, he had a point, if his past with Maria is that much of a problem for her, they should stop dating.
Don't know when Runa started saying 'the past doesn't matter' (when honestly it does for a lot of cases, but that's just me), but yeah, probably shouldn't be a hypocrite and try to follow her own advice. Hopefully this puts an end to the Maria-conflict arc.

I was thinking maybe she didn't process that information mentally cuz she's fixated on her insecurities, but no, she even brought up MC possibly being with Maria while she was being molested as some sort of slight against the MC...

marias face is still as punchable as ever... like ignoring her personality, every time I see her face I really wanna punch it straight up, It just looks like it would be really satisfying to punch and it doesn't help that her personality is trashy too

And caught up. Well, this manga is a mix of cute and fluffy romance, and dumb teenage drama.
The sister resolution is dumb. Not the part where they made up (that could happen easily if they just talked), but the part where Maria suddenly got popular when the rest found out she was Runa's sister. That goes straight against everything about her characterisation from the start. It's all about Runa. It's like she's supposed to just accept that she's only judged relative to her sister and doesn't get to be a character of her own.
Much of the drama is because Ryuuto doesn't talk enough with Runa (and waffles around too much), and the rest because she's too insecure and assumes too much before letting him talk, usually by running away. Though while it flips back and forth, they're still relatively stable and always gets back on track again. There's never any serious conflict, just shallow misunderstandings. I'm getting the impression that if an actually serious issue shows up, it's the final arc, and that's still a big 'if'.
Secondary couple is cute but hopeless. He doesn't trust himself not to get tempted by her, and she doesn't think she's capable of tempting him enough.
Akari's a massive red flag, but so's Ijichi, so they deserve each other. Though he's gotten better since the beginning, and she's aware of how much of a hypocrite she is. She needs to eat her pride (which may make her gain as much weight as he lost), apologise, and then let him decide whether he wants to reject her or not. But she needs to put herself in that vulnerable position.

My guess is the manga won't take the time leap the novels did, where Ryuuto and Maria are not just close friends again but co-workers as well. Unfortunately, she still hasn't gotten over him in the interim years and winds up making some desperate choices to break free. The Maria stuff, you will have with you always. You might have to suffer through Runa's completely stupid Maria-phobic Valentine's Day meltdown, though, since this probably won't finish up before that.

Odd how perspectives differ. I've always looked at the Nicoru/Nisshi/Senpai triangle as the secondary ship. There's no question those two you IDed are massively messed up, though, and will definitely get a lot worse before they get better. And even their "better" is just a different brand of "worse".

Isn't kinda hypocritical for her to be insecure because he had 1 (one) crush (that didn't even go anywhere) but she's had loads and loads of relationships in the past?? Like wouldn't that make you at least a little bit embarrassed??
Hopefully this conversation is something that they ruminate a little bit on, cus dang I wouldn't know how to feel if I was ryuuto loll
And like, I don't even care if a person has much more experience than another, I think this is pretty natural thing to happen, and as long as both parties are communicating their insecurities it should be fine
