We might be seeing the reason behind that. It's just my hypothesis, but it's possible that the FMC passion to grow up and become an adult is very strong that she wants to explore things. And as her friends, also being naive for being young back then, maybe she thought that the world is all roses. So, there's not "bad people" in her school. After several times, maybe she starts to become wary, and maybe that's why you can see her being a bit skeptical over this MC when they first date. Why doesn't she start doing this on her third or fourth times? I honestly don't know.
