I consider four months to be proper etiquette for waiting to take over a manga, so this is fine to me. The typesetting and translation isn’t on par with knight heron but they haven’t posted any in four months so…
Knight Heron just doesn't post on Mangadex anymore, but only on Dynasty.

If you want to read an actual good version, go there.

So, this group isn't really "taking over", they're just redoing something already done, but worse.

They only did one chapter. This is already past what Heron has worked on. They’ve been slower to post even on Dynasty lately.

While they haven't done any other chapters after this one, Knight Heron actually did translate this one. And it just shows how... this is definitely machine translated.
The one on the left is from this translation while the one on the right is from Knight Heron. It is genuinely the exact opposite meaning. Guessing the machine just saw the "absolutely" and translated it as exactly.

Knight Heron did say they hadn't actually dropped this. They just... haven't done anymore translations at the moment. In their Discord, they said it was just an issue of time and energy. But I'd honestly rather wait for them to have that time and energy as opposed to read this translation.
I appreciate this translation for existing but, since there are prospects for a better translation existing, I'd rather wait for that than read this one.

She is the generic "I love my friend, but will never say it out loud in a serious way, because the author can't farm drama if I do" character. A staple of the genre, like aura farming and korean litrpgs.
I really don't think thats what her charcter is at all.

I think she's more of just a schemer who enjoys teasing people and stirring things up. She even says as much in ch13, but she could just be lying ofc.
I doubt she's seriously in love with Meguru either (or maybe i'm just an idiot), as she's been shown to be the type that doesn't take relationships seriously and moreso just likes causing trouble and has been like that since they met.

I don't know if i'd call the character a drama farmer either as so far every attempt she's made at starting something with Meguru or Kasane has fizzled out almost immediately, and neither of them really wouldve done her any favors if she was attempting to gain Meguru's affection; But she is obviously plotting something, especially with her line about bragging about how she got close with Kasane in ch24.2, so maybe that'll change.

I think someone like Sakine from 'Yuri no Hajimari wa Dorei Kara' is a lot closer to that descrption. Personally though, i like Toki and the dynamic she brings to the group, and don't understand the hate she gets here, she's pretty harmless so far. Somewhat generic for the genre? sure, but so is "lonely siscon who misses her sister"

Because the result is the same. The older sister is going to see them together and get jealous, and then they'll resolve the misunderstanding later - that's their entire purpose.
Kasane saw them together in a later chapter (24) and it activated her yuri-goggles. I don't think it'll go that angle. If anything it'd be the younger sister getting jealous since she knows she used to be her favorite idol

I do think she genuinely fell for her, she just doesn't know how to connect to her, and also loves to tease her, and Megurus extreme prejudice to her after learning about her permiscious past killed any normal direct paths of interaction for her. All her medling has been directed in getting more information and finding out about Meguru, that's why it instantly fizzled out, as she got the information she was probing for, even though it was really confusing and unexpected...

Yikes.

You can't call me mean for talking bad about the TL when they don't know the difference between "Absolutely" and "Absolutely not".

The negative modifier is one of the first things you learn in Japanese. It doesn't use kanji and it's very noticeable in grammar.
