This manga hasn't been abandoned and isn't "dead". It's still being worked on actively, just not posted on Mangadex anymore, because the group doesn't trust Mangadex after the DMCA fiasco.

It's posted on Dynasty and if you really liked yuri, you'd know it's the go-to place for it and that they have standards: no MTL.
