Bunch of adventurers who not only disrespect the heroes who saved their country from starving (for few weeks, but still), they don't listen to the literal princess of their country.
I mean, I bet that they are involved with the shady professor and his assistant and that food was tampred with to attract the zombie-like deers, but still, it doesn't come close to the first half of the chapter.

It's been 7 months since this arc started. It's been a big disappointment. Uncooperative locals, untouchable wildlife with magic resistance, and zero clues about any of it. Good thing this is just a time waster story, because it is literally a waste of time at this point.

This is so dumb. The most logical answer is the doctor from outside that "helped" them at the most convenient time and it just so happens to coincide with the deer incident. But, how could we know since this kingdom hasn't even done a proper investigation😅? Irl, there'd be no way they wouldn't have any leads or suspicions by now. But, when the author has them thumbing themselves during all of this, rather than working at finding a cause and solution, this was bound to be the outcome... the author forced outcome. This story needs to get back on track😑
