So, if I can come in at the final hour and dog pile on the story for anyone who cares and has read this far. Well, why you ask? Well, because this was one of the rare harem-based isekai mangas where the author thought up an in-world justification for MC to have a harem of female characters flocking around the MC. However, for some odd reason, the author was too skittish to commit and I'm not necessarily talking about the seggs, but the author seemed to be invoking classic harem genre tropes where MC target-locks on one of the female characters while evading the advances of the other female characters for the entire story. Not only that, but said female character The Princess, knows that MC can only save her world if he grows his relationship with the other Princesses, but she stubbornly and selfishly wants to keep MC all to herself and will cockblock the other Princesses. As Deoxyribo9 reveals, this lasts up until the final chapters and then the harem stuffs happen more or less off screen. Again, you might be wondering, "Ok, so what?" But the problem is the author purposefully tied MC's strength to his relationship with his harem while forcing MC to stubbornly NOT WANT A HAREM.
So, this starts with potential but becomes infuriating each time that's brought up and the author does bring it up often. Even by way of having MC be obviously weak in the face of enemies because MC didn't grow his strength properly by growing his harem, growing his relationships with them, and training himself properly.

Came back after years and find it still about mc and Hime cockblocking other girls. Really tired of seeing MC being a dick, rejecting other girls advance while still keeping them as his harem and Hime keeping the MC all to herself. At this rate should have just divorce other girls and go for the childhood friend route.

I‘m on chapter 55 and all I have to say that if he just done it with Hime in the past (and he had many chances to do so, with no repercussions), this arc wouldn’t have even happened. These freaking virgin mangakas make no sense sometimes (The mangaka of this manga is not the only one)

It's quite instresting to see that shitty story with no plot nor romance, that have the MC of a harem fuck all girl the moment they meet, never have any complain about the total lack of relationship developpement, but when an author take the time to developpe and explain why the character dont fuck like rabbit people complain.
People are complaining that in this story the MC dont fuck the girl out of obligation because he dont want to force them, because he want them to live their life freely after they complet their quest...
The entire plot around their relationship and the ring's power is "superficial relationship are dangerous", but people beg for superficial relationship...
People also act as if MC acted like all the basic RomCom, refusing to get even close to the girl for year, but the entire story is only a few month long... That's realy short for everything's that happened to them.
I'll never understand people... Well, when i see the trash, that dont have any plot and are made like super low quality porn, having the best rating on this website i understand why social media are such cesspool.

Story is over, good riddance, if you only cared about seeing something erotic they do a big one, but it looks drawn rather superficially compared to what "Maybe" used to do, I'd recommend sticking to reading Tasogare Otome x Amnesia or their Doujins.

This series was never good.
But when the main plot ended, and the series continued... i found myself much satisfied.
The last 20 chapters are basically an epiloge.
It really works on it loose ends and i find the ending more satisfiying that way.
More series should put more space into their epilogues.
I wished that Amber and Saphir got more development as even their epilogue is rather short.

People dont seem to notice that none of the characters choose their position.
Sato didnt choose to be the ring king. But it was the only way to get to Kristal.
Kristal loved Sato, but felt conflict with his situation as the ring king.
The rest of the wives just followed their duty. But had their own expectations, as Sato was their husband too.
Even Mars was in conflict over abandoning his responsability to Sato, as he was abandoning his own love for Saphir.
