Correct me if I'm wrong, but what she's doing is a reference to the little match girl; long story short at the verge of death the girl lights a matchstick out in the street to keep warm, proceeds to hallucinate living a happy and warm life then kerplunks. It's why she keeps lighting up candles and imagining a good time with master. Well anyway I hope it doesn't just go dark all of a sudden and she gets all the spoiling she needs in the next chapters and in the next .5 chapters, when is the next one coming even

Guess the master is a illusion or figment of her imagination. It would be interesting if he had been isekaied into Kikimora's world and then returned back to Japan, and he was not just a ghost/illusion.

yall never read about the match selling girl??? TLDR a little girl has to sell matches (all of it) before going home or else her abusive dad would beat her. it was christmas so it was freezing outside and families had decorations up, seeing those reminded her of the good ol times with her grandma, so she lights a matchstick. each time she lit one she felt like she was right back at home, so she lit them all. by the time the last one went out she passed away, seemingly smiling as if she was at peace (going to meet her grandma in the afterlife).

you can probably piece together the connections between the two stories

(and yes i know someone talked about the story above but i feel like it didnt do it justice. no ill will to him)
