Yea... But Shiki's threads are mostly made of water, and since water evaporates at 100°c (actually lower than that but peeps still argue that water needs to boil first then it evaporates, which isn't true lol, actually water evaporates slowly starting at 27°c) so yeah, if the main component of Shiki's threads is water then it is really susceptible to melting and probably burning since the threads are probably organic polymer which burns easily too....When will people learn that a spider's thread is not weak to fire and heat? Spider thread was already shown to survive temperatures of 200ºC with no alterations whatsoever, requiring about 600ºC for it to be burned away. It's actually pretty damn resistent to it.
