Most likely a Zashiki-warashi, a house spirit. There are many different depictions, but some say only children can see them, hence nobody notices the kid despite Genzou can point out the obvious youkai mixing in the crowd.

I won't be surprised if author never introduced the zashiki warashi and just suddenly put her there. If im not mistaken, thats what happen with sieg right?
