Not sure how this has gone unnoticed for so long, but "Where did it went off to?" is grammatically incorrect. "Where did it go off to?", "Where has it gone off to?", and "Where has it went?" are all viable alternatives.

I've noticed, I just assumed people were already mentioning it. Also worth pointing out, it should be "makes the target go aww" on page 5.
And "Where has it went" might be considered acceptable usage, but it still sounds pretty awkward IMO. I would definitely go with one of your other two examples.
