Well... This is not exactly a masterpiece of sorts, nor it has any element of interest; unless you pick it up to stimulate personal passions... Passions that by themselves have no merit: A honourable man of delights will not build a monument to his obsession and call it virtue upon it being convenient. There's nothing more absurd than a perv that thinks he's using his mind, when in truth he's using his lower entrails.
I say this as someone that associated the era imagery of the cover with that the genre of classic eroguro. If on the verge of being unethical, don't add to it being a dumb bastard that finds entertainment in suggesting clever adjustments that are nothing but inconveniences.

Edit: if you ignore the fact this dude and girl are engaged its a really cute slice of life 9/10 . Art is stellar and setting is authentic(it seems accurate to the time)

Read it and it's still so odd. The disclaimer is already a red flag (mentioning Sleeping Beauty, when most people read/watched were too young to even comprehend age gaps or consumed a version where ages weren't mentioned as a "gotcha!" moment is weird). Just because something was common place during a time period, doesn't make it ok (also them becoming officially married when she's a teen doesn't make it any better). There's is a lot of social norms that were considered "socially ok", but enough people knew it was morally wrong (There's a good reason why children being married at young ages is frowned upon by the majority of the world's population, and why there's still push back in countries that still allow it). The kissing scenes are also creepy. (His whole character is creepy but my comment is already long). The only good traits about this manga is the historical research behind it for the setting and the art.
P.S: if you guys want a better historical manga that deals with arranged marriages in a more mature manner, read Otoyomegatari. It follows multiple women, and the marriage with the inappropriate age gap is handled much better. Also read Taisho Gakusei Aisaika.
