"We have no evidence for you cheating at all, but even if we determine that you didn't, we'll just put you into a class way below your results. However since I'm feeling generous, here, have some extra hoops to jump through (being entirely at the mercy of your classmates with every single one having the power to screw you over, no reason even needed) and we might treat you with the fairness you deserve."
God, this is the shit I absolutely despise.

Are you fucking kidding me.
Why do authors like writing stupid piece of shit text which frustrates readers.
Prove your worth and then threaten them that he'll leave just like his sister did.
You want to live freely but you keep going with what others want. God, none of these "I want to live freely" mangas ever have an MC who does what he wants.
At times like these my guilty in reading this in a piracy site and not supporting them vanishes :)

Reminds me in real life school thing for some reason ......Not exact scenario but equivalent
Not really; while people like to complain about School for real life, it's mainly because they underestimate how difficult having a system to educate thousands upon thousands of kids really is....

And then how difficult it is to change a system and improve it when millions of people are involved.

And lots of times, peoples memories of school changes as they grow up (it's scientifically proven that memories aren't trust worthy and that our memories can change)

So if people have a bad impression of school, then as they grow older, their memories of it would get worse.

Nah, I know my memory is just fine. At this specific thing at least. My impression of school is unchanging even during when I am at school and that is 13 years ago. It is too continuous to be false memory nor it is a one time event to be one. I also keep reading about such cases not only at school but also in corporate world so it is not just my memory. It also include videos, pictures and such physical evidence so it is not just their memory.

The problem in this series school is elitism and classism which is also present in both school and corporate environment.

It being difficult to educate thousand does not really excuse their behavior. The system itself is one of the reason why it is difficult. Funding based on number of students make school goes for quantity not quality and incentivize lowering of standards. Policies that make handling students difficult .

Yeah, I really hate that stupid trope.
Atleast they didn't accuse him infront of the whole school, like they usually do, but I don't like that they didn't do the more logical "we have prepared a surprise test so that you can prove that you didn't cheat".
I would have demanded a test and if I managed to prove that I didn't cheat they should have to bow and apologize infront of everyone, to quell any rumors and to suffer some type of humiliation comparable to what they caused.

It’s the theoretical section, if you’re so unconvinced, run an oral exam ask intelligent follow up questions. Cheaters and pretenders can’t deal with in depth probing.
And if your baseless accusations ended up groundless the minimal thing that needs to be done is to apologize. Even kids know that.

Also, incredible improvement on a school exam is something to lauded because an exam should be able to be aced through effort by design (there is also a factor chance as to which question/topic show up).
If it’s a sports competition, then maybe you can be suspicious of sudden improvements.

Such incompetence.
Yeah I can feel the author incompetence and lack of common sense in these chapters the teachers are looking like the bad guys accusing him of cheating. Exactly have in depth talk discussion his answers will prove he didn't cheat but they are so brain-dead, also having to get every student to agree is stupid

Yeah the most live a quiet life and go with the flow do whatever teachers tell him or authority. Betting if war comes hell have shown off they'll ask him and he he will go to keep them happy and that goes against freedom and of course risk of dying

Maybe, but just because your experience was bad doesn't mean school in general is bad... it just means it sucked for you...

That said, a lot of times, perspective is often ruining reality (things are worse in your head than it was in reality and as time went by, your memories made it worse).

Of course, it could also that it was as bad as you remember.... but you will never know if it's your brain hating you or if it was reality.... cause our mind can f***ing suck....

Friends weren't happy about me speaking up about being bullied wanting me to keep quiet keep status quo. Teachers were useless most not really caring, in it for the pay check. Principal was pathetic at handling it, sure maybe I could have reported more but after all the fail and of course I get retribution for being a swueeler, of course not everyone gets it this bad, plus some are normal

There's a popular saying the nail that stands out gets hammered down, guess that was me
