Immediately, I think of "Green Boots, Sleeping Beauty, Rob," and "Scott."
Those are all corpses that haven't been retrieved off of Mount Everest/Sagarmatha/Chomolungma that are used as way-points and markers for the hiking/climbing route through the "death zone."
Bunch of people who didn't quite have enough oxygen or stamina to make it, but couldn't be helped, and so they are still on the mountain.
It's morbid af, but it's also super interesting.
