I read up a couple of arcs forward in the novel translation, and there are no signs of Mira transforming back.
In fact, she seems to enjoy her current condition, and is slowly gathering reputation under her new name that would make it possible to appoint her as a wiseman.

He want to turn back into a man, and still act as a man here and in the LN as far as the release go. The author make it clear all the time that he have no awearness as a girl. An exemple is it took him month to start wearing bra and "proper girl" underwear.
But even after this he still act as if it was just an in game avatar and not his body. He never feel any shame of being seen naked or half naked, and he never feel even slightly being female.
He enjoy this body because for him it's the perfect body a woman should have. This is all. It's like playing with your waifu as an avatar.

In the LN it's made clear a lot of time that MC want his old avatar back and that he has no intention to accept staying a female. The issue is that he can't, as of now he didn't have the possibility to look for a way to turn back because of the mission he has. He need to find all the other wiseman as soon as possible for the safety of this country.

I can't get enough of MCs with variety of outfits. This and Tensura are great examples of that. Not to mention that both Mira and Rimuru are cute to boot.

It gets lost in the translation, but Mira speaks with an exaggerated 'old man wizard' style. It's something she would do when roleplaying as Dunbalf and couldn't break the habit even after being turned into a little girl. You can hear it if you listen to the Japanese version, she often ends her sentences with a verbal tic like 'na ja' and makes other such word choices that don't really translate differently, but is just an 'old man' way of speaking. Having her use a British accent is a decent way to show that she's talking like an old wizard despite no longer being an old wizard.

I'm 3 years late here but, as someone who just watched teh anime, there's something else yopu forgot to mention. Mira refers to herself as "Washi". A form of "I" used by old men and even a bit archaic.

One of my wish is that she eventually beat that habit and change it to "watashi" buuut.... we won't really know that because English only has one way to talk in the first person. Japanese is the only language I know where there are multiple first-person pronouns (watashi, ore, washi, etc.)

If she were to change pronouns it would be to something like "Warawa" unless she dropped the archaic act entirely. But...she never. EVER. Changes how she talks. Even reading to the current chapters on Syosetu her dialogue remains the same.

The fact that she's this adorable little girl talking like a stereotypical old man from a period movie is basically half the joke of the entire series and it only gets funnier as everyone around her forces everything else about her to get girlier and girlier.
