Feels like he could have solved that in any number of other ways. Gate to some wasteland where he unleashed bigger magics. A magic that turns him into dust. A shield that contains it. Retreat and shield the ppl so the bomber takes down his allies. Or anything else, the guy is an op harem protagonist after all. Sans harem. So far.

Also, wonder why ppl suiciding like that hasn't been weaponized, if it is so seemingly easy, and far more destructive than actual spells.

Anyway, the fact that they made a BIG POINT of the pitfall existing and then showed the explosion only blowing the roof off the castle means *boops at extraneous calculator* he threw geodud there into the hole. Why he didn't just stab him in the brain, idk.

What an incredibly stupid way to force tension, Shin could have done soooo many things to prevent damage from the explosion, the main one being teleportation, seriously just teleport the demon into the wilderness before he explodes.

Also why did he stand so far away from him after fatally wounding the demon, just bad writing for the sake of it, when he's made sure to kill the enemy first in many of his earlier fights.
