I'm still fully expecting the Strom vs Shin fight to be fairly manageable what with his modern day knowledge and the so-far nigh countless ways he could apply it to magic in this world.
Unless Strom manages to learn concepts and knowledge of elements from the modern world then maybe they'd have a fight.
@Shadess I suppose it could go with the same thing Shin's friends have done. General improvement through magic power control practice across multiple members of Strom's inner circle, to the point where only Shin has a chance against them. Higher base stats plus putting in the work is always better than just putting in the effort. It'd end up treating the demons like the hero party and Shin like the demon lord for the fight. That would actually be kind of interesting I guess.
Alternatively, Strom's ideas about whether their new forms can propagate as a separate species from humanity could produce something even more monstrous than he and his flunkies are currently.
So I understand why shin is doing this due to the huge threats, but this is literally politics and warfare, and I'm slightly worried the Prince will turn somehow in the future in one way or another
Bad guy 1: So is there any weakness of Shin's that you've spotted?
Bad guy 2: He seems to be especially protective of some blue haired girl that likes to strip.
Bad guy 1: I see... did you take any pictures of her? *cough* You know, for research purposes.
This is dumb, the master clearly not interested in world domination yet the underling work like they understand their master. The very thing they do is just disobeying and not respecting their master
This two-piece moustache is asking to be atomised into oblivion with Shin's mere laser eyesight. I want Shin to visit them in their castle once & say, "SIT. DOWN. BE HUMBLE."
