That straight-man jab in the last panel was somehow unexpected to me, making me laugh. Somehow expected the story to be as nonsensical as ever, with her agreeing or somehow revealing a way to the vault (maybe it just appeared somewhere?)

In the first chapter where the Queen was introduced, the Principal stated the spell would wear off in about a year. That was during the Spring, and it's currently December; so she still has a few months to go before she reverts.

Also I like how the Queen just doesn't put up with anything the other characters get up to.

Good point there! I forgot about that.
Though, knowing the sage I wouldn’t be surprised if she decided to extend it because she (or the author) prefers the Queen to be cute, or something like that.
