Chapter was so sweet I wasn't sure I would survive till the end ! Glad to see them speaking more casually and having fun. The pln at the other table and the waitress were also really fun to watch

Hey now, if you brew espresso properly, it's sweet. not bitter. Coffee grounds release the sweeter-tasting chemicals early in the steep. When you steep longer you release bitter flavors. The challenge is steeping long enough that it doesn't taste watery, but not so long it becomes bitter. How espresso works, you tightly pack very finely ground beans and force pressurized hot water through them. It's meant to quickly draw out the sweet flavors without getting the bitter. If you get the fineness of the grounds, don't overpack them, and set the water temp right, it comes out sweet and creamy. Delicious!

Yeah, I was a bit confused. I used to drink espresso regularly because it was sweeter than coffee unless I screw up.

I think it's that, plus how far the hand would have to be back to hold the piece of toast that way. Like, that would legit have to hurt with the angle it's at. Mine certainly did when I tried replicating it XD
