My Japanese is still extreme beginner but I read it as "aaaaaaaaaa", I'm guessing in the same context as us going "uhhhhhhh"?Sorry, pals. I legit laughed when reading Aki's line on page three. Kudos to the TL team for translating like that.
No uniform in sight. They are younger than middle schools. Middle schools is when school uniform shows upWeirdly this makes me think Riku might be in the closet. It doesn't seem like any of the other friends had that thought, but Riku seems to think that because Aki's sister is gay that Aki could be too, and he subtly pushed him off. Some internalized homophobia perhaps? It's a possibility anyway.
Funnily enough, this arc reminds me of someone complaining about this manga not being realistic enough because it never addressed homophobia explicitly and directly. I don't think this makes the manga more realistic or better, but I do like this plotline. Middle school is rough no matter the culture, and I assume Aki is in middle school. It just sucks there.
It’s not Mitsuki’s fault, there’s nothing wrong with what Mitsuki did, it’s all because Riku & Aki overblowing things and in this manga, people don’t communicate because there can’t be drama without it..She will find out why he ran away and she is gonna be PISSED. Like someone else said, This might be the catalyst of their fall out.
Yes it’s not Mitsuki‘s fault, but i still expect someone to blame her. Or she is going to blame herself. It’s not Mitsuki’s fault, there’s nothing wrong with what Mitsuki did, it’s all because Riku & Aki overblowing things and in this manga, people don’t communicate because there can’t be drama without it..
