ngl i think the author might just not know and is strictly a listener/appreciator of the genre rather than a fan who keeps up with everyone's journey and stories. And even if she does know, maybe she's trying to separate the art from the artist, which isn't the best choice either but yeah it's unfortunate how SO many popular artists have done something awful like what's up with that why can't people be normal fr. i hope she's aware of some of the bad history of the bands mentioned, i agree. it'd be cool to see some newer groups mentioned, but idk what the probability of that happening is.

Is it just me... or did somewhere along the line... like maybe a bit before or right around the prom dance, did the timeline of events accelerate drastically? I feel like every chapter in the past 20 or so has been either isolated events or extremely time-skippy... especially with this last chapter. We're kinda just made to fill in the gaps? It almost is giving, "The series is wrapping up" but then it kinda dials that tone back in the very next chapter.
To be clear, i'm not hating it, but narratively its not as compelling as it was in the earlier chapters.

I think the author isn't wanting to rehash the same sort of plot points that other manga's have already done. Which I can kinda understand but yeah, at the same time its kinda hard to read at times with how jumpy the timeline is

all the volume 4 chapters in english are on page 2, the other languages didn't get put in the volume and so they're taking up page 1

Straight man reporting in. I absolutely love this manga. Great art, cute romance, likeable characters, and the music theme is very relatable. Why would my gender or sexuality change that?
