Eh, this is painful.
The premise start with this woe is me i am a 27 old khv, there is hardly any explanation why mc is like this. No childhood trauma, seems like both parents are present and they are not financially unwell. All that "my strict boss" stuff but the interaction we get to prove it, is femmc just lightly scolding him and fixing his shit for him.
Then we find out that mc is actually very popular both in school and at work despite his lack of confidence.
