They've made it a trend that anytime someone works on a series that theyve seemingly dropped, or are far behind in, they magically put out a batch release within a very short span. To me it comes across as " Our series, don't touch" and undermines the work that another has put forth.
From what I understand. GDS holds onto chapters they've translated and trickles them out slowly. I cannot confirm if this is true or not. But it is interesting that as soon as this other translator comes in, they're suddenly dumping multiple chapters. I don't think they would of managed to translate, proofread and also do redrawings when needed that quickly while also juggling their other series.
from what i understand they are understaffed so the slow trickle is due to lack of workers for multiple series.
then stop picking up so many series? They pick up new ones as well and it seems more like for them to just claim it than anything else.
