I almost had to cry... I can sympathise with the protag. So scared to come out to my asian parents.
Thanks for translating this gem. :)

Whoops I mixed up authors, nevermind me

It reminded me an awful lot of My Brother's Husband, in subject, tone and art.

Really realistic story, well done. The kind of reading I was looking for, not the smutty ones.

I hope not only the characters but everyone in the lgbta+ community gets the respect they deserve, eventually.

Not like mind blowing or anything but very true to life. People will insist so much that “you should try to understand us” when they dont even want to acknowledge your non harmful way of living that makes you happy. Im bi so I get it from both sides, gays and straights. This is still a good read though, very solid. Thanks for this

The only criticism I have—in a pure literary sense—is he seems a bit more eloquent than seems reasonable, given that he's under great emotional duress, a couple times when explaining why other people are wrong. It was slightly immersion-breaking for me, and made it feel less real.

Or at least, I can't personally imagine saying just the right thing pitch-perfect like that, under those circumstances XD

It's real nice. I like how the manga is able to convey the message of the story in such a spot on way. The only gripe I have with the story is that it seemed to imply that the flamboyant and effeminate gay people portrayed in the media aren't that normal. Although, it does state that it showcases how being a homosexual in Japan is like, so maybe their views are really like that. It was still a grounded read.
