I wanted to like this at first, but the main character is just a really shitty person the more I think about it. And I love a shitty MC in a toxic yuri, but the author genuinely doesn't seem to understand why the MC going around with another woman that her friends and "not girlfriend" said beat up the latter is questionable. Even if you argue she shouldn't trust Hwayeon, there's no reason to doubt the others. (Honestly it felt like the author just changed the truth behind this event part way. The "it wasn't how it looked" reveal was so late and so pointlessly hidden it felt like a retcon.)
MC also tries to push responsibility for the "not breakup" onto her now ex, even though MC was the one wanting to separate because she (MC) fell in love with, and was fooling around with, another girl. MC tries to gaslight her into thinking it's her fault for not being clearer about her feelings. But even before the events of the first chapter those feelings were clear to literally everyone in the story. Nobody still believed Hwayeon was straight. Neither did MC, because if she did she wouldn't have felt the need to keep so much about her other relationship secret.
And then, after kicking out her now ex(?), MC returns to takes her apartment shopping, knowingly misleading her into thinking they're moving back in together, for weeks, just to reveal after they get the place that "No, this is just for you not us. Never show your face in front of me again." WTF?
And again, I can love a toxic MC, but the writer genuinely thinks all this is the MC being a good person. They think some late twist reveals, which the MC had no way of knowing when choosing her actions, and making the starting partner unlikable, completely justifies what is basically two-timing. I don't even mind two-timing stories. But there's such a lack of awareness here.
