I never understood the size differences. They didn't have so many huge differences in the first tournament. But now all of the sudden they have 20 feet tall moose men? And the elephant lady didn't change zies at all?

@Riger I think it has to do with the new generation... Moose (and Megatherium/Sloth) were both labelled Gigant, whereas most of the rest of the cast are labelled Brute. Though I thought Gigant was the term they were using for animal->human hybridization utilizing extinct animals, which would've worked if they used Megaloceros, but that thing has an antler span of 3.5m, instead of a 'paltry' 2m that moose was described as.

Disregarding the exaggerations this manga piles up with every chapter, but I remember this clip where an adult male lion charged a herd of wildebeest and tackled one to the ground with brute force alone, and the lion was as big as the wildebeest.

So yeah, they might be "lazy kings", but when they do move, you'd better run.

Did you notice how I said that the weirdly proportioned ones came AFTER the first tournament?
Because both of the ones you mentioned are from after the first tournament.
They really don't make sense, as I said. I think the only really strangely proportioned one from the original tournament (that I can remember) was the snake. He was freaking huge.

Sorry but no matter how much they try to hype up lion I'm just not feeling it. Doesn't help that I hate the character. He's done jack shit the entire manga aside from getting his ass handed to him and also being a gross rapist. I hope Cheetah crushes him.

I feel bad that goat girl is facing badger in round 1, I really liked her and hoped she'd make it far. But I highly doubt it'll happen, even with her injuries I doubt badger will get taken out the first round. And if by some freak chance that does happen, then she'll be facing beagle. That might be a fun match with former teammates, but again not looking good for ms ibix.

Alright, I'm gonna predict the R1 results. Ch 85 was just released, so I look forward to seeing how my predictions go:

Match 1 is gonna be dino girl, obviously. Match 2 is gonna be the gator boy so he can job to dino girl in round 2, also obviously.
Match 3... Not sure, honestly. I don't think this one has a clear cut winner, but I'll go Hippo just because I like the guy.
Match 4 is gonna be Leo, so he can job to the dino as well.
Matches 5 & 6 are gonna be Fox and Elephant so we can see that hyped match up in Round 2.
Matches 7 & 8 are the most predictable of them all. What I didn't predict is that we'd see Honey Badger vs Beagle in the 2nd round, yikes!
